OUR PROCESS
Introduction
More often than not clients find us first in the process of building their team. We are happy to recommend any architects, builders, or subcontractors to be brought onto projects. We discuss the scope, budget and overall design needs to make sure everyone is on the same page. If everyone is on board we will have our clients sign a contract and then the real fun begins.

Design Concept
We will have an initial call or meeting to discuss the overall feeling we want to achieve. We will talk about the architecture, colors, and the wants/needs that our clients would like to see in their home. We prepare a concept presentation to determine the aesthetic and spirit of the home.

Design Development
Once we have a design direction, we will prepare schematic drawings for furniture, cabinetry, lighting and anything else within the scope. We start with a set of “as-built” drawings of your house, and propose any architectural changes, draw suggested furniture plans, and discuss the needs of every space.

Specification
Depending on the size and scope of the project we will have a few meetings to propose all materials for your home including stone, tile, plumbing, and appliances. Shortly after that, we will have another meeting to propose all your suggested furnishings, fabrics, lighting, and window coverings.

Installation
Once the house is complete and clean, ETD will spend 1-5 days installing your home. Window treatments, rugs, wall coverings, furniture, bedding and accessories, are all placed and styled. Emily will walk through your home with you, discuss anything that needs to be swapped out, punch list items, and any loose ends. Our team will work diligently until every last item is checked off the list.

Procurement
After every single item is approved, we will start invoicing, ordering, and putting custom items into production. Throughout this process our team will work with sub contractors, vendors, makers and builders to ensure everything is being built to our specifications. Our project managers will work with the team closely to keep everything on track and within the budget. As items are completed, they will be shipped to our ETD managed warehouse for inspection and storage until the home is complete and ready for installation.
